The wellness yatra was a great way for me to ground myself in a holistic approach to wellbeing at the beginning of the year that is beyond physical or mental health singularly, and much more about the intertwining of the two. The instructors are phenomenal - they are so understanding of the limits and capacities of individual participants. Not pushing endurance, just encouraging discovery; I really respected that about them. The thing I appreciated most though was rediscovering yoga. One of my great frustrations with how yoga philosophy is disseminated in our fast paced world is that it has taken on a narrow interpretation of testing the limits of physical exertion and prowess - can you jump into the chaturanga or perfect your arm balances? - and much less about why these poses are beneficial to the mind-body system. Yoga has become synonymous with exertion in the modern world, but it is meant to be an exercise system comprising physical movement and mental stillness. That was what I was able to revisit with the Yatra. I hope the journey will continue to build on the content that was delivered.
I am enjoying your classes immensely. I have tried several similar things earlier but I found yours sessions very personal where you understand my situation in depth,situations around me and recommend me appropriate yoga instructions.I must say you are very thorough with the approach and explanation of the poses and I really enjoy them. Having practiced other sort of exercises for 2 to 3 years. I was searching for a class that captures the philosophy and presence of movement that calms my mind and keeps my body healthy and strong; I have found these things with your yoga classes by doing yoga nidra. I have been a part of wellness yatra for past 5-6 months now , and it’s the best part of the journey is that before they start the classes the explain us all about the meditation and the asanas. This helps us understand the benefits we will be getting by doing these exercises. I have a sleeping disorder and doing the asanas and lifestyle changes, have helped me a lot during past months. I still have long way ahead to get back in shape, and I am very confident that this will clearly help me overcome my sleeping disorder. I feel more active then I was before and wanted to convey this experience that I had in these classes and I want to share this with everyone.
I participated in the January 2021 wellness yatra and I would like to thank you to the creators as it was a great immersive experience. Each session we had a lesson, yoga and meditation. I would like to recommend wellness yatra programs for those who want to go deeper in their yoga and meditation practice. Wellness yatra gives you the actual meaning of the yoga practices during their sessions and it is different than what it is perceived in USA. My journey with The Wellness Yatra began when I desperately needed help to take care of myself. And now I realise I made the right decision in joining them as they take care of me very professionally, catering to all my ailments and customising sessions as per requirement and capacities. What was once a rigid, low enthusiastic mind & body is seeing a great positive metamorphosis into a flexible & energised person. My family joins me in thanking the team, especially Pooja & Abhinav for this amazing transformation that I am going through. This yatra indeed has elavated my wellness and I highly recommend them to everyone who needs an upliftment in life.
After joining Wellness Yatra, my body has become more flexible and there is considerable reduction in body stiffness. I had an ovarian cyst that was no longer there after 4 months of yoga practice. I could notice an overall change in my body and mind as I could perform my duties with great energy and enthusiasm.
It enabled me to find my inner peace and become calm and composed.
The overall improvement in my lifestyle brought back the confidence in myself and made me realise what I need to do, to take care of my body and mind. The Wellness Yatra has been conducting regular therapeutic yoga sessions in our Anunitha Campus (De-addition and Rehabilitation Center) since January 2021.
The sessions are given to our in-patients at group level. Overall the yoga sessions are helping residents along with other residential programs.
The Wellness Yatra team understands our requirements and has custom designed the sessions to best suit our needs and the needs of our participants. The trainers are very knowledgeable and Professional. We are completely satisfied with their services. we would recommend their services to any individuals or corporates.
The "Reboot Yourself" Workshop by The Wellness Yatra exceeded my expectations. The Program was given to the students, faculty and staff of our college and proved to be very effective in relieving stress, improving physical energy and clarity of mind. The techniques taught in the program were easy and profound and would be very effective in improving the overall quality of student life when practiced regularly. The program is a great tool to empower youth. I would recommend the program to anyone in the academic management and industrial community as this program definitely helps in the overall health and development of people and the society at large.
